If you are looking for that "Indiana Jones" type feeling of adventure this dive site is for you. Devils Den is an underground spring inside of a dry cave. The entrance way is a narrow rocky passage leading you eventually to a series of wooden steps then to a large wooden platform several meters beneath the surface. If you look up to the ceiling you will see a large opening to the surface allowing natural light to penetrate the cavern. Hanging down from the ceiling are the roots of the surface plants adding to the exotic ambiance of this site.
The dive site itself is an average of 40 feet and riddled with honeycomb like limestone structures some large enough for several divers to pass through. Visibility is usually excellent and there are a couple old catfish that have grown to a length of over 3 feet. The name Devil's Den came from early settlers seeing steam, rising like smoke, from the opening of the cavern on cold winter mornings. This site is also very old and prehistoric with remains of extinct animals from the Pleistocene Age.
Price: $75.00/pp
Includes: Site Fee, Tanks, Dive Master, Free Transportation for first four PAID spots.

Blue Grotto is a privately owned spring fed sinkhole with depths reaching 93 ft. Don't be put off by the term sinkhole as this is far from your typical sink. When you first enter the water you will encounter a large open warter swimming area followed by a huge cavern comparable to a small high school auditorium.
There are several wooden platforms at fifteen and twenty feet to help you get your bearings prior to entering the cavern. At a depth of 12 feet there is a fresh air bell so you can take off your mask and breathe some fresh air as well as communicate to other divers. At 50 feet there is a large limestone rock that can sit about 8 to 10 divers. This rock has been nicknamed "Peace Rock" as a result of someone carving a peace sign on the rock back in the 1960's.
As you descend further, there is a large shaft that slopes down at a 90 degree angle reaching a depth between 85 and 95 feet depending on the current water table levels. Watch your buoyancy as you will encounter silt that can be easily stirred up. Also, there are lights at 30 feet to illuminate the cavern. If you keep your depth at 60 feet this is a great site for Novice divers. If you go below 60 feet you should have training in deep and cavern environments.
Price: $75.00/pp
Includes: Site Fee, Tanks, Dive Master, Free Transportation for first four PAID spots.

Blue Springs is one of many Florida State Parks that allow diving. Blue Springs is known for its manatee migrations during the months of November up until March. The average depth in the run (river) is anywhere from 5 to 8 feet depending on the water table. If you follow the run to its origin you will find a boil about 125 feet in diameter with a large crack in the center that drops down to 114 feet.
The crack itself is large enough for several divers to descend at one time. On the way down, along the walls, are smaller caves that dead end and could be problems for divers trying to squeeze there way in. There are no buried treasures in these tiny caves so we suggest avoiding them. At 60 feet open water divers will see a sign warning them not to proceed any further.
The Park admits caver divers with proper training and equipment to go the full depth. We caution even our cave divers because when you get to the very bottom the flow of water from the spring is so strong it can take the mask right off a diver. If you stay above 60 feet this is a good dive for an advanced diver. Good buoyancy skills are needed for this dive since there is a strong to moderate flow at all times of this dive.
Price: $65.00/pp
Includes: Site Fee, Tanks, DiveMaster and Free Transportation for first four PAID spots.

Alexander Springs is a great dive for the family or a fun dive for Junior Divers. It's nature's version of an outdoor swimming pool. The spring basin is enormous, almost 300 feet wide with an average depth of 10 feet. However, in the center of the basin, the spring vent itself reaches a depth of 20-26 feet depending on the water tables.
There are some small caverns for the experienced diver to explore that make it an enjoyable scuba dive for all levels. There is a strong flow at the deepest part of the vent that novice divers should be aware of. There is a lot of marine wildlife here ranging from small Bluegill to turtles and catfish.
The public facilities are well kept and they have a small gift shop with beverages and snacks. During the summer months the facility is very busy with swimmers, snorklers, and scuba divers a like as this is just such a nice place to spend a summers day at!

Blue Heron Bridge Dive
The Blue Heron Bridge at the Riviera Beach location is one of best shore dives in Florida. It has two distinct sites, easy and west, with tons of small critters and enough big fish to keep you looking around. This is a ONE tank dive due to HIGH tide. It is also a great dive to dive along with Lauderdale-by-the-sea. This dive should only be dived near slack high tide with max depths of 19-23 feet.
Diving this site between high tides is not advised due to the currents and limited VIZ caused by the tidal change. Always plan this dive at high tide.
